If your a PlayStation 3 owner, and don’t have an XBOX 360 or used an XBOX 360 (which makes us wonder why you’re here), then the XCM Cross Battle Adapter is now giving you the chance to experience the luxury, comfort and happiness that the XBOX 360 controller has to offer. It’s hard not to agree that the XBOX 360 has had more thought crafted into it’s comfortable curves – hardcore gamers know that playing intense games for long periods of time isn’t going to give them arthritis in the long run.
I mean, lets be serious here for a minute. The Microsoft Defense Force would never recommend this unholy union between two devices from such distant areas of the industry. If you are a PlayStation 3 owner reading this – we would just recommend you buy an XBOX 360, especially with it’s current amazing price.
Sony Computer Entertainment appear to be firm with their, what they think, is a controller design that is here to stay. Other video game manufacturers have proved that the evolution of video game controllers are very, very possible. Granted, Microsoft are till the new players in the game, but they have shown that they are willing to learn and give their users a fresh design based on feedback and their own research. Nintendo have shown that they are prepared to show the industry new directions and ideas, and educate their audience. Sony? “We’ll just give them the same controller ‘cos we know they like that. That Nintendo thing too that they revealed today… that looks half decent. That could work – lets see what we can churn out to our drones in two weeks time and watch them broadcast how amazing it is”.
Microsoft? They designed a great controller – they didn’t need to add any type of motion control to their controller. Has it made us wish that we had motion control sensors in our controller? No.
The XCM Cross Battle Adapter is available to buy from any good gaming imports website.
